Faced with a projected $7.25 billion deficit for fiscal years 2012 and 2013, the General Assembly and Gov.-elect Dan Malloy have their jobs cut out for them over the next two years.

But aside from the fiscal issues, which will impact almost every conversation, there are several other issues the General Assembly is likely to confront when they return on Jan. 5.

The Office of Legislative Research unveiled a 25-page report Monday detailing some unfinished business and new challenges the legislature will confront during the 2011 legislative session.
