Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont is scheduled for a briefing on coronavirus mitigation efforts today at 4 p.m.
Susan Bigelow noted in her analysis of the prevalence data today that the number of new cases has doubled from what it was two weeks ago, from 1,235 for the week ending Sept. 30 to 2,497 for the week ending Oct. 14.
