Gov. Ned Lamont will hold a ceremony to sign House Bill 6004, An Act Concerning Police Accountability, into law. He will be joined by Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz; the co-chairs of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee, state Sen. Gary Winfield (D-New Haven) and state Rep. Steve Stafstrom (D-Bridgeport); state Rep. Brandon McGee (D-Windsor, Hartford); state Rep. Anthony Nolan (D-New London), who also serves as a New London police officer; and Waterbury Mayor Neil O’Leary.
