Gov. Lamont is expected to be joined by the co-chairs of the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Group, Dr. Albert Ko and Indra Nooyi.

We were also on a call earlier today with the Labor Department. Based on all the problems people are having with the unemployment system, the department has set up a new call center that has 25 people answering calls today, and will eventually be staffed by 60 people. The IHME’s data said the statewide peak for COVID-19 was April 20 at 204 deaths. Under “containment strategy” the IHME chart suggests that “after June 9, 2020, relaxing social distancing may be possible with containment strategies that include testing, contact tracing, isolation, and limiting gathering size.”
