Gas prices have been relatively stable in Connecticut this year, according to user-generated price data from the GasBuddy app.

The lowest non-member, per-gallon price for regular gasoline reported in Connecticut on Friday morning was $2.34 at Fuel Plus on the corner of Boston Post Road and Airport Road in Windham.

The highest price reported early Friday was $3.39 for regular at three stations, including two in Wilton and one in the Milldale section of Southington near the I-691 interchange with I-84.

The average price of regular gasoline in Connecticut today is $2.66 per gallon.

Generally speaking, Connecticut’s gas prices are higher than the national average. But during the months of April and October this year, Connecticut’s average price for gas hovered close to, or slightly below, the national average for short periods of time.
