Chicago fans will not want to miss the iconic rock band when they stop at Wallingford’s Toyota Oakdale Theatre Aug, 6.

Though the band has endured several changes in lineup since its formation 50 years ago, their distinct sound has never wavered. The group’s classic rock sound infused with horns on timeless hits like “25 or 6 to 4” and “Saturday in the Park” have separated Chicago from other bands of their time.

Their legacy has been sealed with their recent induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, making this show a must-see.

Kenny Chesney Plays Special Mohegan Sun Arena Gig

Perennial country music favorite Kenny Chesney ruffled fans’ feathers late last year when he announced an uncharacteristic break from touring, opting instead to perform for one weekend only at Gillette Stadium in his only stadium concert of 2017. Luckily for the local devout of No Shoes Nation, Chesney has committed to playing two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena prior to his weekend gig in Foxborough. The “Setting the World on Fire” singer has been a steady fixture at major music festivals this year, but kept his headlining shows to a bare minimum, making his upcoming Connecticut appearance all the more special. Chesney will take over Mohegan Sun Arena August 10 and 11, with both shows beginning at 7:30 p.m. He will wrap up his 2017 schedule with August 25-26 shows at Gillette Stadium with special guests Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion. Tickets are selling fast for both venues, so don’t miss out!
