The excitement kicks off at 1 p.m. with a jam-packed schedule of tribute bands playing both the Dome at the Oakdale Theatre and the venue’s outdoor patio area.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headline in Hartford



Legendary rockers Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will headline Hartford’s Xfinity Theater June 14 as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour. Fans won’t want to miss Petty and company when they roll through town on what may be the band’s farewell tour. The “Free Fallin’” singer has previously hinted that the milestone tour could also be his last, citing increasing age and a focus on family as a driving force in the decision. The band will be joined by rock icon Joe Walsh of The Eagles as a supporting act, making this concert a must-see. The show begins promptly at 8 p.m.
