Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will be in Chicago for the next two days to participate in a Democratic Governors Association regional policy conference, which will include a Chicago Cubs game.

The conference is hosted by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn. According to the DGA website, it will be attended by Malloy, Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, and Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin, who serves as chairman of the association.

The governors are scheduled to watch the Chicago Cubs play the Cincinnati Reds Tuesday night from the Wrigley View Rooftop, which will be followed by an event called “DGA Late Night” from 9 p.m. to midnight.

On Wednesday, the conference will include a series of roundtable discussions on infrastructure, energy, and jobs and economic prosperity.

A spokesman for Malloy said the Democratic Governors Association is paying for Malloy’s trip.
