APRIL 4, 2012: According to the Braddock indictment, Soucy met in Connecticut with the FBI undercover agent posing as John Kelly, whom he believes to be a hedgefund manager looking to invest in RYO smoke shops.

At that meeting, Kelly provided Soucy with $11,000 in cash – $10,000 to pay conduit contributors who would write checks to the Donovan campaign and another $1,000 as a bonus to Soucy for his efforts to arrange the defeat of the RYO legislation.
