CTNext, a public/private partnership helping the high tech startup community in the state, launched an interactive map last week to help connect businesses and organizations in the state’s startup community.

The map delineates businesses as either in the “Startup” phase with less than ten employees, or “Stage 2” companies that are over two years of age and have less than 99 employees. Service providers are also represented on the list, including co-working spaces and other resources that might be of use to struggling startups.

Users can filter the map based on those delineations as well as whether or not they’re approved CTNext member companies. CTNext designation is based on an assessment of the company’s size and growth potential.

So far 229 companies are on the map and organizers are asking for more submissions to help grow it. Membership in CTNext is not requirement for being listed.
