Gov. Malloy appeared without UConn hats to hand out on CNN’s “Starting Point with Soledad O’Brien” yesterday morning to stump for President Obama. Not quite the same love fest as Tuesday’s “Morning Joe” appearance. View the clip here
State Republican Party Chair Jerry Labriola will get the chance to make his case that Connecticut is a battleground state to the Romney Camp personally. The Courant is reporting that Labriola will meet with the campaign at an “undisclosed location” in Hartford. Read more

The Murphy campaign has a new approach to raising money, asking supporters to put some change in a “victory jar” (to be donated to the campaign) every time they see his opponent’s ad on television.
