The Legislative Office Building will be bustling with activity Monday as three legislative committee’s hold public hearings on some high profile issues.

The Transportation Committee will hold a public hearing on the controversial red light camera legislation , the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee will hold a public hearing on zappers and room remarketing, and the Judiciary Committee will hold a public hearing on strengthening the Alvin Penn Racial profiling law.

On Tuesday the Labor and Public Employees Committee will hold a public hearing on codifying Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s executive orders allowing certain groups of individuals to collectively bargain with the state. Then on Wednesday the Judiciary Committee will hold a public hearing on repealing the death penalty.
