Vernon Mayor Jason McCoy announced Friday afternoon he won’t be seeking another term for mayor, but instead is considering a run for U.S. Senate.
At the moment the only Republican to announce is Brian K. Hill of Windsor who ran in 2010 as an independent. Everyone keeps waiting to see if former WWE CEO Linda McMahon will give it another shot. But the longer they wait the more money the three Democrats will raise, giving the party a bigger advantage of holding onto retiring U.S. Sen. Joe Lieberman’s seat.
