Sen. Edith Prague, D-Columbia, told NBC Connecticut on Thursday that she has no regrets regarding her statement this week that she’d like to see accused Cheshire murder suspect Joshua Komisarjevsky hung by his “penis” from a tree without a trial.

Komisarjevsky’s lawyers have since condemned Prague’s comment and asked to delay the trial three months because she may have influenced jurors.

Prague’s remark came during an interview with CTNewsJunkie this week, but the quality of the audio from the interview was poor. However, Prague reiterated the sentiment on NBC Connecticut (below) during a conversation about her decision to switch her vote on the legislation to repeal the death penalty.
