After delaying layoff notices to more than 4,700 employees as negotiators worked through the weekend, labor officials say notices could be sent out as early as May 10.
In a post on InthistogetherCT.org, Larry Dorman, spokesman for the State Employees Bargaining Agent Coalition, said Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s administration “told SEBAC leadership there will be no layoff notices issued until at least the morning of Tuesday, May 10.”
Malloy was going to hold a press conference at 10:30 a.m., but it has been canceled due to scheduling conflicts.
