“Thank You Govenor Rell” the sign hanging over the podium at Tuesday’s fundraiser said. The misspelling quietly caused some giggles at the event that helped raise $60,000 for the new Rell Center for Public Service at the University of Hartford.
The University of Hartford employees who helped plan the event said the sign did not come from them. By the end of the evening it wasn’t clear who may have been responsible for the sign.
