Former Stamford Dan Malloy came from behind in the final days of the primary in August to win the Democratic nomination for governor, defeating Greenwich millionaire Ned Lamont by a surprising landslide margin.
Now Malloy is facing another Greenwich millionaire in the general election – Republican Tom Foley – and their campaigns already are exchanging negative ads. But Malloy became the frontrunner last week based on the first head-to-head polling for the two gubernatorial candidates.
Malloy joined Mike, Dave, and Brian at MDB Studios in Avon on Monday for a special edition of Sunday Morning Coffee. Listen to the hour-long interview above and check back Sunday as the guys deconstruct their interview. Check out photos from the studio here.
