Dodd Won’t Attend His Own Fundraiser

With the possibility of missing Senate votes on health care all day today, U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd is staying in Washington and won’t be able to attend his own fundraiser, according to Dodd’s spokesmen.

Vice President Joe Biden will still attend the Dodd fundraiser at the Connecticut Science Center without Dodd. Biden is also expected to make his visit to the East Hartford Public Safety Complex later Friday afternoon.

Jackie Clegg Dodd, Dodd’s wife, will fill-in for Dodd.
