Denise Farina, the tenured teacher at the center of a rare public termination hearing, used her teacher’s pass code to take confidential information from a student data bank at the Mary T. Murphy Elementary School to give to her paralegal for use in her case—a violation of federal law, the attorneys at the hearing said.
