A judge slapped a $500,000 bond Tuesday on a man who shot his 9 year-old cousin in the face. The boy’s mother was more forgiving.
“I know this was a mistake,” the mother, Yonsha Solomon, said on the Elm Street steps of state Superior Court after the shooter, Matrell Wright, was arraigned inside. “I don’t feel any anger… I’m worried about Matrell, too. He’s family.”
