Connecticut Democrats announced Tuesday that Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer will be the keynote speaker at their annual Jefferson-Jackson-Bailey fundraiser.
Schweitzer is currently serving as the Chairman of the Democratic Governors Association. He is traveling the country helping Democrats retain or take back the executive office for the respective state.
On Monday, June 1 Schweitzer will address Democrats at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. Three days later on Thursday, June 4 the Connecticut Republican Party will host their annual fundraiser at the Stamford Marriott Hotel. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich will address Republicans.
Tickets for the two fundraising events range from $2,500 to $175.
