US Sen. Chris Dodd, who has recently come under attack from Republicans for accepting $27,500 in campaign contributions from Stanford Financial Group, said Thursday at the state Capitol in Hartford that he will be giving it to charity.
Dodd, whose poll numbers a few weeks ago had dipped into the negative numbers, said he’s been around long enough to know not to pay attention to poll numbers.
