As his boss appears decreasingly likely to launch a second gubernatorial run, New Haven’s mayoral Chief of Staff Sean Matteson has become a Facebook “fan” of John DeStefano’s top rival in the governor’s race.
DeStefano challenged Gov. M. Jodi Rell in 2006 as the Democratic nominee, with Matteson as his campaign manager. The mayor has been mum on whether he’ll run again in the 2010 race.
