Less than 72 hours after announcing he would be taking a $120,000 job as an adviser to the newly elected House Speaker, former Speaker of the House James Amann ratcheted up his gubernatorial campaign by announcing three appearances.

In an email sent Sunday evening, Amann’s campaign staff said he would be appearing Monday at the state Capitol for a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration. On Tuesday he will be on WPLR 99.1FM at 8 a.m. with Chaz and AJ and on Wednesday he will appear before the Meriden Democratic Town Committee.

Check back here Monday afternoon to find out what Amann has to say about his new job and how he expects to run a gubernatorial campaign while working for the House Democrats.
