Voters in Naugatuck will head to the polls March 2 to choose a new state representative in a special election for the 70th Assembly District.
The special election is being held to fill the seat formerly held by Kevin DelGobbo, who was appointed by Gov. M. Jodi Rell to the Department of Public Utility Control.
Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz said Thursday that the Republican and Democratic Town Committees in Naugatuck have until Monday, Jan. 26 to endorse a candidate.
