Are you passionate about issues related to Connecticut? Send us an op-ed. Our goal is to increase civic engagement by providing a home for a statewide community conversation.
Op-eds should be 250 to 700 words, and we will be happy to include any relevant and appropriate links or artwork you offer.
CTNewsJunkie reserves the right to refuse any submission. Also, in order to be considered for publication, we’ll need full disclosure. Along with your op-ed, the following information must be included:
-your full name and a phone number so we can verify your information;
-town of residence, unless you have compelling reason that we don’t publish it;
-the name of any organization or company with which you or your family members are either employed, affiliated, or invested;
-any federal, state, local, municipal, county, or quasi-public office held by you or a family member.
Also, it helps to put a face on your ideas. If you send us your organization’s logo and a photo of yourself, we’ll publish those with your commentary.
