The federal government, at least—now that a new president is taking the reins.

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal was among 50 staunch grassroots Barack Obama supporters to spend part of Saturday looking not back at the November election, but forward to what kind of “change” they want to help bring to the country under a new administration.

“Change is Coming” was the theme of the meeting at Yale’s Afro-American Cultural Center. Similar meetings took place across the country Saturday as part of a call from the “Obama for America” organization.
