CT-N Switches Channels In Some Areas of The State

For all you political junkies out there, effective today the Connecticut Network will be moved to channel 98 in Comcast’s Hartford, Vernon and Plainville franchises. 

This includes the towns of Andover, Avon, Berlin, Bloomfield, Bolton, Bristol, Burlington, Canton, East Hartford, Ellington, Farmington, Hartford, Hebron, Marlborough, New Britain, Plainville, Simsbury, Tolland, Vernon, West Hartford and Windsor.

According to a CT-N press release, the move is part of an overall channel realignment placing CT-N next to C-SPAN on these systems’ channel lineup.  The network remains part of Comcast’s basic service package in these areas and all other CT-N channel numbers remain the same statewide.
