After an appeal from a downtown alderwoman over breakfast at Clark’s, a reluctant Bill Dyson stepped up to the podium for a night of party unity.
New Haven State Rep. Dyson, the longest-serving legislator in the State House of Representatives, was the guest of honor at a Democratic Town Committee fundraiser at Anthony’s Ocean View in Morris Cove Tuesday night. First elected in 1976, he’s retiring after 32 years in his 94th District seat. Over a hundred politicians gathered to sing praises of his legendary career.
