CCSU Threatens To Cancel Debate If Third Party Candidates Are Not Included

NEW BRITAIN- Central Connecticut State University has canceled the League of Women Voters’ sponsorship of a debate on campus for banning Green Party and Independent Party candidates from participating, and has threatened to cancel the debate altogether if all candidates are not included.

Green Party candidate Harold Burbank II and Independent Party candidate Thomas Winn are challenging first term Democratic incumbent Chris Murphy for the 5th District congressional seat.
