The General Assembly is expected to convene Friday morning at 10 a.m. The first order of the day will be to honor the Shelton Little League Baseball Team just back from the Little League World Series.
It’s unlikely any business will take place until late this afternoon or evening.
The General Assembly is expected to allocate the $75 million 2008 budget surplus toward winter heating fuel assistance for Connecticut families. On Thursday three legislative committees were unable to decide how to allocate $84 million in federal heating assistance for 90,600 low-income families.
