Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards will be bringing his Half-In-Ten campaign, to the Boys and Girls Club in Hartford Thursday, July 10.
In the morning Edwards will have a roundtable discussion with a group of community organizers, local officials, and Hartford residents about ways to reduce poverty, increase affordable housing, and expand credits for low-income families.
After a lot of back and forth on this issue it was decided Wednesday that the roundtable discussion will be closed to the media. But following the discussion, Edwards plans to hold a press conference at the Northwest Boys and Girls Club about what was discussed during the hour long session before heading to Bridgeport and holding a similar event there.
