
Even if you’re 15, you can start ringing up orders, thanks to a bill signed into law this week.
The bill was little noticed amid more controversial measures during the recent legislative session. But it will make a big difference for teens seeking employment this summer.
The law allows 15-year-olds to work as cashiers, baggers and stockers in retail stores. Gov. M. Jodi Rell signed it June 2.
