Speaker of the House James Amann, D-Milford, and Senate President Donald Williams, D-Brooklyn, wrote this letter asking Gov. M. Jodi Rell to meet with them to discuss doing something to improve public safety in the wake of the New Britain home invasion. Rell was quick to call for a three-strikes law Monday in this press release.
