Judiciary Committee will hold a noon public hearing in Room 2C of the LOB on a number of bills dealing with firearms, and at least one civil unions bill.

The Education Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in Room 2E of the LOB to discuss and vote on – among other things – the Healthy Teens bill on funding for sex education, military recruiting in high school, and another bill that would create a uniform starting date for the school year.

At 11 a.m. in Room 1B of the LOB, the Connecticut Healthy Teens Coalition will release the details of a poll that found 8 out of 10 voters support teaching comprehensive sex education in public schools.
