Last month the Capitol press corps tried to nail down Gov. M. Jodi Rell on her three strikes proposal; this month it was her plan to split up the Department of Transportation.
“I know this may sound confusing, but it may remain as one agency with two very specific, focused departments,” Rell said. “They don’t necessarily have to be two agencies.” She said it may be two different agencies or a Department of Transportation and within that there could be two agencies with two separate focuses.
