Former state Democratic Party Chairman George Jepsen endorsed Hillary Clinton for president Tuesday.
“Senator Clinton represents the American people’s best hope to move our country in a new and positive direction,” Jepsen said in a press release. “Her experience, knowledge of issues, and years of fighting – and winning – on behalf of what is right, have prepared her uniquely for the most important challenge facing the next president, that of getting America back on track. In Hillary Clinton Democrats have a candidate ready for the test, ready to be president.”
Stamford Mayor Dannel Malloy and Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch have also endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.
