The General Assembly is expected to convene this afternoon to try and pass a bond package of capital projects that is an estimate $160 to $180 million less than the $4.6 billion package vetoed by Gov. M. Jodi Rell.
The House is expected in after 2 p.m. and the Senate is expected in after 10:30 a.m. Those of you familiar with the pace of the state Capitol know these times are only ballpark figures since nothing ever happens on time under the gold dome.
Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
