The extra cops stopped it. Or it was a false—though widely believed—alarm. Either way, shootings tied to a reputed Bloods initiation failed to materialize across town this weekend.
The city police had extra patrols working after hearing word that the gang, which according to some reports has gained a foothold in New Haven, was sending initiates out to commit shootings, according to Sgt. Lisa Dadio (pictured).
