
The federal trial against a Greek shipping company accused of illegal dumping slipped into murky waters Tuesday, as a key government witness struggled to explain his reasons for testifying in the case.
Dario Calubega (pictured in a sketch at the top of this story), is the third Filipino to testify against Ionia Management S.A., a Greek shipping company charged with criminal conspiracy and numerous counts of deep-sea pollution.
