Connecticut Opposes the War, COW for short, is encouraging friends to come and march against the War in Iraq at the annual Willimantic Boom Box Parade.
The parade will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those interested in marching with COW should meet at Jillson Square, near the intersection of Valley Street and Jackson Street across from the famous frog bridge.
“If you have never been, it is a great place to deliver our message to end the War in Iraq to thousands of people attending with their families,” John Murphy, COW organizer says in an email. “It is the way that the 4th of July should be celebrated.”
