Both the House and Senate intended to vote on the state budget Friday, but already the Senate has cancelled and the House moved its start time from noon to 6 p.m.
The Senate has rescheduled its session for 11 a.m. Saturday, according to an email from the Senate Democrats.
Sources say there are too many Democratic leaders in the House with vacations planned next week to want to cancel the Friday vote.

House Minority Leader Lawrence Cafero, R-Norwalk, said earlier this week that he would like to have the weekend to go over the budget and come back in for a vote Tuesday. But he said, “It’s not my call.”
