Just as budget negotiations change by the minute, so does a proposal for quality affordable health care. The Senate is expected to bring out an emergency certification bill this afternoon, but depending who you speak with it, it morphs by the minute.
The new bill may or may not include pooling for municipal employees, along with a dozen or so other proposals talked about earlier this year. Increases in Medicaid and HUSKY reimbursements are expected to be included in budget negotiations since the legislature can’t approve any spending without having a budget first.
