Yale-New Haven Hospital trumpeted a slap on the wrist it received from the National Labor Relations Board, while the union seeking to organize the hospital’s 1,800 blue-collar workers cried foul.

Following the investigation of an unfair labor complaint, the NLRB has proposed a remedy ordering Yale-New Haven Hospital to post signs pledging to cease and desist from breaking federal labor laws, without admission of wrongdoing. The hospital trumpeted the news; the union seeking to organize 1,800 blue-collar workers declined to sign on to the agreement, saying the hospital was unfairly let off the hook.
