Is universal health care the same as “socialized medicine”? Not necessarily, Juan Figueroa (on right in photo), president of the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut, reassured his listeners at a meeting of mostly small business owners at the Graduate Club.
Figueroa spoke, along with a representative of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA), at a luncheon meeting Thursday of the Manufacturers Association of New Haven County at the Graduate Club.
