Blogs. In Connecticut’s U.S. Senate race, they may be changing history. With free software and easy-to-use programs readily available on the Internet, just about anyone can blog and share their daily interests, links and opinions. But blogs are more than just the latest way to campaign. Listen to last Thursday’s program, “Where We Live”, with NPR host John Dankosky, and guests Christine Stuart, editor of CTNewsjunkie, Rich Hanley, a Quinnipiac University professor who has a blog called Creeping Meatball and Dean Pagani, former Gov. John Rowland’s press secretary and media consultant, who blogs at Media Attache. Click here to listen to the show and here to read the Pew Internet Survey released July 19 that found only 5 percent of bloggers are journalists.
